The weather in Thailand is very equatorial, high temperature and humid. The climate are caused by monsoons which make three weather seasons in Northern and Central regions of Thailand and two contrasting seasons in Southern Siam. Monsoon in the southern areas approx May to October is warm and the sky is cloud covered, in the north-east monsoon in November to Mar is rainless and comparatively colder.

Located about 18 km north of Koh Samui in the Gulf of Siam is the island of Koh Phangan. The Island is much quieter and laid back than Samui, just with the exception of the Full Moon party where every month between 5 - 10,000 visitors arrive for the over crowded full moon party in Haad Rin.
The famous Party is one of the local events on island monthly if only to experience the Fullmoon Parties at party scene some media have named Koh Island they empathize the standard anticipated by guests.
Another good alternative for accommodation is Sunset Cove, because it's perfect for different kinds of visitors. Sunset Cove is ideal for couples on honeymoon and families or several people as well.
The most visited of the beaches, Chaloklum especially in high season are crowded with sun worshipers but there's also less visited, more secluded Party is the world's best known resorts and spas to choose from, everything from a budget 90 Thai Baht a night bed with roof and four walls without private bathroom to top notch aircon palace with your own pool.
